American Heritage tennis camp welcomes individuals from all over the world. Our program is designed for junior players ages 12-13; players are grouped by age and skill levels. If you are a beginner player looking to improve your skills or if you are an intermediate to advanced player looking to step up your game, we have the program for you. Players will receive training from a staff that consists of USPTA certified tennis pros, current/former college tennis players, and current/former varsity tennis players. Summer tennis campers will improve their overall skills with excellent tennis training, play in competitive tournaments, and participation in fun games and events.

In 2003,Coach Toby Croke became Director of Tennis at American Heritage School in Plantation. Coach Croke has dedicated his time to the development of beginner, intermediate, and advanced tennis players. As Head Coach of the varsity tennis team, Coach Croke's boys and girls teams won 5 state, 10 regional, and 11 district championships. Coach Croke has received multiple Coach of the Year awards from the Sun-Sentinel, Miami Herald, and Florida Dairy Farmers. Several former team members have been selected Player of The Year, for 1st Team All-County, and have earned college scholarships for tennis.

Camper groupings vary by program. Day Camp programs will be grouped by age/grade/gender, Specialty Programs are grouped together by age, interest, and/ or skill level. Programs are not guaranteed and require a minimum enrollment. Campers are supervised at all times by our energetic and fully-trained staff. Our counselors are carefully selected based on experience, character, and leadership. Every staff member is background checked, as we continue to maintain the highest level of safety and security on campus. At American Heritage Day Camp we do our very best to make sure our staff is placed with the appropriate age group to ensure a successful and fun summer.
